Tour Itinerary Crossing the countryside of the Veneto Orientale we reach the vineyards of firstly the Veneto and then Friuli. We head between the hills of Corno di Rosazzo & Cividale starting with a visit to a wine-maker and his vineyard. Great white and full bodied red wines accompanied by local products - we enjoy it all ! Lunch takes place in a tiny ristorante near the Slovenian border with home-made specialities, Schioppettino wine and to finish off a grappa or two. In the afternoon we take time to see an old monastery dating back to the 11th century - Monastero delle Rose, so called due to a particular microclimate where roses flower even in Winter!
